Andrew thought about it for a moment. Truthfully, he wanted to go alone. "I'll go," he said simply, his eyes falling on hers gently. He kissed her lips softly and looked down at her. "I'll be careful. I promise," he said with a slight grin. He kissed her forehead and looked around again. "It's still nice here..." he said softly. He looked up and back down at her, smiling yet again.

Praxis closed her eyes at the kiss and sighed as she cuddled into him. "Alright, take your time then." She smiled as she looked up at him and moved her hands to both sides of his face, her thumbs caressing his skin. "Thank you, Andrew." She smiled and let him go back to enjoying the night. "Your right...it's just like it always was..."

Andrew was a little confused at what she was thanking him for, but he just softened under her touch and smiled gently. "I can bring Nyssa back with me if you like." He kissed her forehead and gave her a small grin. He would give her the world they stood on should she ever ask for it. He'd find a way to give her everything, anything she wanted. Andrew knew he was completely in love with her, and that was currently the only thing keeping him anything less than completely dead inside.

Taking his hands, Praxis led him closer to the forest and to a large tree stump. She chuckled. "Not our fallen tree but it'll do for now." She sat down and crossed her legs as she leaned back on her arms and relaxed, arching slightly, the way she use to. Her free hand went through her hair as her eyes closed. "Oh I miss Nyssa...do bring her back please." She whispered as her head tilted back and she looked over at him with a trick of a gaze similar to how she use to look at him in the beginning of the year.

Andrew followed her. He didn't sit, but he stood against a tree like he used to before they ever thought of getting together. Suddenly, as he looked her over and she glanced back at him he realized this had been inevitable. Since he last could remember, Andrew would always stand somewhere near her, leaning against something and looking her over. He always figured he was just looking out for her, but all at once Andrew realized Praxis looked great from this angle. Of course she looked great from any angle, but this made all of her feature pop and glimmer just the right way. He also suddenly realized the look she'd been giving him for some time now. Suddenly he understood she had felt the same way he had for such a long time and it made him love her even more. "I will," he said in a voice that wasn't much over a whisper.

Praxis kept her body angled like that as she looked over at her dark lover. A sly smirk crossed her lips. He had always been there to help her, to protect her, even when she thought she could crush the world under her heal. One thing was for sure, the two never had the sidekick role down pat. It would switch depending on the day and mood, and of course if he had sipped from flesh or vile as of late. Now it still twisted between the two. Chuckling softly, Praxis laid back on the stump completely and closed her eyes as her back arched and her arms stretched above her head. She felt so much better being out here rather than cooped up in the house, that was for sure. "Thank you..." she whispered again as her head tilted toward him and her eyes opened only slightly. This time what she was thanking him for was clearer.

Andrew smiled gently, though he felt his breath catch in his lungs and his vision clouded everywhere but her body. That, he could see perfectly. He let his gaze roam from her fingertips down her arms, over her beautiful face, down her neck, over her breasts and all the way down to her toes. He took in every part of her as if he'd never seen her before, though her image was burned in his mind. He made no motion to hide it, he didn't care if she saw him looking her over; good if she did. He took a steady breath and just stayed where he was, looking out into the darkness.

Praxis' eyes lit up as she caught his gaze traveling over her. A throaty chuckle escaped her as she used her elbows to arch off the stump a little more, making her body curve perfectly. If she was teasing him or not wasn't overly important. She wasn't trying to, of course, but she was just invigorated by the freedom running through her. hell, even her wings were fluttering over her back and it made her need to curve like this so she didn't make the pain she was already feeling worse. She showed no pain, however, and just seemed to relax completely and perfectly. Her eyes lingered over him and her lips curved darkly when she caught his gaze once again.

Though he wasn't looking at her, his vision allowed him to see her arch up a bit. He let a small smirk tug the corners of her lips but he didn't go to her. He let the smirk grow a little when their eyes met again though, and let out a shallow breath. He just stood where he was, appreciating her more than ever before suddenly. Most of the things that had been plaguing his mind seemed to melt away for now as he looked down on her gorgeous form.

Getting sick of laying that way, Praxis slowly moved so she was laying on her side. The plain gray dress she wore, which still had some rips in it from earlier, scooted up her leg slightly, showing them off to him as she laid one hand on her side and the other propped her head up. Her hair lingered around her, giving her a sensuous look. She never spoke but a smile stole the sly smirk away and she seemed to just relax and tease him with her happiness if nothing else.

Andrew smiled gently. He finally came to her, sitting in front of her on the stump. without hesitation he leaned down and, stabilizing himself with his hands and hovering over her, he kissed her with an urgency he had been feeling since she'd been teasing him. He wasn't trying to start anything at all actually, he just wanted to kiss her. Very badly.

As he came closer Praxis couldn't help but tilt her body back just enough so that he could lean over her comfortably. Even before their lips touched she was smiling and reached up to put her hand against the side of his face. The moment their lips touched together she couldn't help but let her eyes flutter close and take in the wonderful feeling of his kiss. Her lips parted slightly and her warm breath tickled against his lips as she just delved into the kiss.

Andrew kissed her for a few moments, but he pulled away before they got too passionate. He had a little respect for Lyric, for the fact that he was her maker if nothing else. He supposed he could sympathize with it, being a father now himself, adopted but still. He could imagine Dreama when she grew older. Merlin, he's going to have to keep her locked away. No, Andrew quickly shook those thoughts away. He smiled down at Praxis. "We should go to bed soon," he said gently, giving her a loving grin.

When Andrew pulled away Praxis didn't pout nor try to pull him back. She was just fine with a kiss for now, for a while if thats how it had to be. Going around and having sex wasn't their relationship's foundation, and if it was it would be best to figure that out early. Besides, they were just outside of the Manor and easily seen. She might have been that gutsy when she first moved here but she wasn't going to disrespect the place her mother died like that. Laying on her back again, Praxis sighed. "Can't we sleep out here?" She chuckled before pushing herself up and stretching again, just trying to keep them out longer. "If we must we must." Turning toward him, Praxis gave Andrew that loving smile that just had her features lighting up.

Andrew gave her a slight smirk when she asked about sleeping outside. She should have known he wouldn't argue, and he didn't. However his smirk also reminded her that they had two children sleeping upstairs that would go absolutely conkers should mommy and daddy not be around in the morning. He let out a bit of a chuckle as she stretched. Standing he cracked each shoulder, turned abruptly to crack his lower back, and thrust his shoulder blades back to crack his upper spine. He let out a small sigh and reached out an arm, slipping in 'round her waist. He didn't walk yet though, seeing her gaze made his world melt for the second time tonight. In a good way anyway. He slid his other arm to her low back and urged her toward him gently. When she came nearer he kissed her nose and her lips, but it was not deep. He simply placed his lips against hers innocently and kissed her. "C'mon, love," he said in that guttural whisper.

Praxis walked around as she waited for him to finish his cracking. Once she felt his arm around her she couldn't help but turn and look up at him. As his other arm came around her she smirked slightly and moved the way he wished for her to do. As she leaned into him, her arms wrapping around him loosely, she kept her eyes on him even as he moved in for a kiss. Scrunching up her nose after he kissed it, Praxis cuddled to him and tried to hide her face but he stole the kiss anyway, and she didn't fight it. Sighing lovingly, she nodded to his whisper. "Whatever you say, knight." She chuckled and looked up at him before she started to walk toward the manor backwards, motioning for him to hurry up.

Andrew smiled and watched her move for a moment until she motioned him. Then he moved, his legs working of their accord. He smiled a little though, catching up to her and walking with his arm around her Once they got to the bedroom he let her go and began unbuttoning his shirt. Once finished he slipped it off and hung it gingerly on the bedpost before pulling his belt from his pants and hanging that as well. he took everything in his pants pockets and slipped it into the pillowcase. This is what he would do when on an assignment and not willing to lose any of his things. He pulled the blade off of his belt loop and slid it carefully under his pillow. He slid off his shoes and socks, slipping the socks into the shoes neatly and setting them beside the head of the bed. He left his pants on and slipped into the bed, laying his arm out and just under her pillow so that she could cuddle to him and still lay on her pillow.

Praxis watched him for a moment but just chuckled before she slipped into the bathroom. Once inside she brushed out her hair and braided it into one long strand. Said strand lingered down her body and brushed against her hips as she moved to go back into the bedroom. FIguring she might as well sleep in this torn dress, she didn't both changing out of it just so, if the children came into the room, she was decent. By the time she went to the bedroom Andrew was laying down and she couldn't help but smile. Slipping in next to him, she laid her head on the pillow and curled into his arm, kissing his biscep slightly before looking up at him.

Andrew was happy to have her in bed with him, he couldn't lie about that. He kissed her eyelids and smiled. "I love you," he said gently, kissing her lips as well. He lay there with her for a while, just chatting about small things before he propped himself up on his elbow slightly. "Do you think the children will be safe here?" he asked as they lay in bed together. He was worrisome, though he normally hid it. "I'm not sure leaving them's the best thing for them. What if something happened to them..." He gave her a sideways glance and lay back down. "I guess we'll see," he finally said, giving her a small smile. He pulled her against him and snuggled her. "Love, will you sing me to sleep?" he asked cutely, kissing her cheek and closing his eyes.

As Andrew propped himself up, Praxis rolled onto her back and laid on his arm but close enough to him that she just had to look up to have the conversation. As he spoke she sighed, not able to help it. "As much as I hate the man...besides with us or perhaps Dezzi this is the safest and warmest place for them. They need somewhere that will be loving and doting on them, not some place thats full of darkness. He'd treat them like a princess and a prince, that I can guarantee...and he's stronger than he looks, even though he looks like a bag of bones." She sighed, obviously not liking the conversation. When he pulled her over she curled into him happily and ignored her thoughts. "mmm I guuuuess." she kissed him carefully before she started to sing the song she sang the first night they made love, the one she wrote him on his birthday. It still had the sound of all her love and wonder in it, making it clear the meaning of the song, even if one didn't understand.

Andrew was awake for nearly the whole song. However, as she neared the end of it he tucked in close to her and finally fell asleep. As he slept, Andrew tried to play with her hair faintly, though it was in a braid. He made a small noise and just cuddled her, wrapping his arms around her snugly.

Praxis couldn't help but chuckle at him, knowing he was annoyed in his sleep that her hair was in the braid. Rolling her eyes, she wrapped her arm around him and caressed his face, smoothing his hair and simply doting on him until she just couldn't stay awake anymore. Finally giving into how incredibly tired she was, Praxis slipped off to sleep and clung to Andrew as she did.

That morning Lyric appeared once again. He was standing in front of the covered portrait that hid the secret passageway. Putting his hand on his chin, he frowned at the cloth. "...Why is this still covered...?" He reached out and pulled the dusty sheet down, revieling a painted portrait of his family. Lyric was in the corner, smiling and-as with all wizard works- moving a bit while watching A woman with long green hair holding a small child in her arms. Aldora wasn't in her sirecie form at the moment, though she switched to it after seeing him only to go back, and she had an odd pendent around her neck that would change depending on the form she was in. Praxis was small and had silver wings and hair to match, only there were flecks of magenta growing in here and there. They all seemed so happy. No wonder she had kept it covered.

Andrew woke early the next morning, before either Lyric or Praxis. He had kissed her forehead and snuck to the children's room to kiss each other theirs. He left her note, reminding her he had gone back to the Higgin's manor to retrieve Cerberus. Pyaimia was, as she had taken to since Praxis' disappearance, hanging from his ear and therefore accompanied him.

When Praxis arose, far earlier than any of the children, she panicked a bit but saw the note and calmed. After reading it she nodded and sighed before curling into the fetal position and just laing there. She didn't want to move, hell she didn't want to be awake. Almost as if he demanded it, Praxis felt like she needed to sleep because Helios was sleepy. Yawning a little, she curled over and fell back asleep.

Lyric sat in front of the portrait, watching is beloved and daughter from all those years ago. Tears were in his eyes.

Andrew made it to his old home, the large manor looming over all of the land that surrounded it. He let out a shallow sigh and approached it carefully, sticking to the shadows as much as possible. When that became impossible, Andrew climbed up into a tree and, after carefully moving from tree to tree, climbed in his old bedroom window. Sure enough, laying on the bed at his pillow, was Cerberus. The pup made a lot of noise When he saw Andrew coming in, and leaped off the bed. Andrew snatched him out of the air. He held him tightly, making his way through the entire house. He frequently slid his hand over the sheath containing his blade, but never had to pull it out to be used. He came outside, smelling the ash from the fire. Ash was nowhere to be found, thank goodness, and the smell of burned flesh was floating in the air thickly Andrew couldn't help the sick smile that came to his lips as he looekd over the fire. "You always said you wanted to be laid to rest here.... got your wish didn't you." With that Andrew made way back for the Clementine Manor. When he came in Lyric was looking over the painting. He set down Cerberus, but -rather than going to investigate everything and Lyric- he stayed right on Andrew's heel. Andrew approached Lyric and slid out the blade. "Thank you," he said. As the man looked at him it was obvious he meant for giving it to him. "Is that Praxis?" he asked, nodding to the baby in the picture.

As Andrew came closer Lyric continued to look at the painting, hoping it wasn't Praxis because he knew she'd be furious with him for uncovering it. When hearing the male's voice Lyric just sighed, thankful, and turned around. With Andrew so close Ceberus felt a little better about sniffing out the odd man before him and Lyric held out his hand to the dog for just that. "It's yours no reason to thank the likes of me." He kept his hand out but looked back at the painting. "Yes thats Princess. The woman is Aldora, her mother." At the mention of her name the green haired woman looked up and smiled brightly, one that resembled Praxis' grin but was far too cheerful to every be compared to her daughter's. The little girl in her arms, who had long silky looking curls of silver around her head and bright eyes looked around as if they didn't see anything and the silver wings curled around her when she saw Andrew, hiding her as she curled into her mother. Even the Lyric in the photo seemed to chuckle at it.
