Study of Ancient Runes

When morning drew near Viktor opened his eyes slowly and with a smile. He caught sight of her innocent features and his smile widened. He caught her innocence once again. Viktor just lay there until she woke up as well, petting Aero affectionately and watching her gentle features. He watched her chest rise and fall gingerly as she breathed and her eyes resting closed. He loved seeing her like this just a much as he loved seeing her as she normally was.

Desdemona had curled up in a half fetal position by the time he woke up and had her head on the pillow besides his. Her eyelashes pressed against her high cheekbones and her hair fell across her face slightly. The way she curved had her body's outline showing perfectly under the thin cover over them. Her chest rose and fell, her breasts pushing against her lace clothing, as she breathed, and her lips were parted slightly. She didn't wake up just yet and it was still dark outside, meaning they had a little time before she'd have to fully wake up and sneak out. Aero pushed his head against her arm and nuzzled her slightly. Seemingly use to it,her hand moved down from her hip, across her own body, until it found him and then pet him lethargically as she stayed half asleep.

Viktor watched her with a smile, sliding his hand to where hers would roam over it. As it did he lifted it, brought it to his lips carefully, and gave it a gentle kiss before placing it back onto Aero. He lay his head on the pillow and closed his eyes for a moment, enjoying this morning more than most.

As he kissed her fingers she shifted slightly, curling toward him a bit. When he laid his head back on the pillow her head shifted until her forehead and his met. She yawned softly and moved in a snuggling way as her hand continued to move over the spoiled Aero sleepily. The little dragon ended up crawling up her hip and laying on her again, making it hard for her to pet him, so she ended up just wrapping her arm around him and holding him as she relaxed in her half sleep.

Viktor smiled a little, she was adorable when she slept. Absolutely adorable. When she finally did awake though he smiled gently. "Breakfast will be soon..." he said, kissing her temple and smiling calmly.

As her eyes fluttered open Desdemona looked at his shoulder dazedly, trying to figure out where she was, like always. Slowly her eyes traveled until they met his. When she spoke her eyes just shone and the colours spun as always but she made no noise nor movement. When he kissed her temple her head moved slightly as if she were going to hide her face. She was obviously still half asleep. Eventually she yawned and nodded, as if she understood what he had said, but she didn't move.

Viktor believed tender moments could be as enjoyable. He coaxed Aero off of her and replaced the dragon's body with his own. He loomed half over her and kissed her lips softly. He slid his tongue into her mouth smoothly and toyed with hers but he held her gently and didn't force himself on her.

She made a slight move as she slid onto her back from him looming over her. Aero gave off a jealous roar but went to sit in the chair and go back to sleep anyway. Though she didn't kiss back at first, Desdemona slowly slipped into a gentle kiss. Her lips parted for his tongue and her own awaited it, smoothly running against it with each flick of his own. Her hands were against his chest, her eyes closed again, and she just kissed him, enjoying the feeling it sent through her.

Viktor continued to kiss her like this for a while, enjoying the feeling and taste of her lips and tongue. He held himself up with one arm, but the other held her up a little bit, his forearm along her spine and his hand holding up her head carefully. He let her relax against him and kissed her with a gently, caring passion.

Slowly, as she enjoyed the kiss, Desdemona's hands moved up his chest and to his shoulders. Her arms slipped over them and locked behind his neck as she eased into the kiss. She wasn't being forceful, nor was she being as sadistic as she normally was. No, she was calm, kind even, and kissed him with gentle, smooth moving lips that returned his passion and hinted at some other underlining emotion that wasn't normally felt in their normal activities.

Viktor wasn't quite positive what he felt course through him. the passion and the way she moved her lips against him made him feel like everything was the way it was meant to be at this moment. When the kiss finally broke he tucked some of her hair out of her eyes, behind her ears, and cupped her face. "Morning," he said smoothly, kissing her nose and lips again but shortly.

Her lips continued to move in that same way as the kiss continued. When it finally ended, however, she bit her lip and let her eyes flutter open. She closed one eye as he moved her hair but slowly opened it again. "Morning..." she whispered in that soft, innocent like voice. Her eyes were still slightly dazed, showing she was half asleep. That meant she really hadn't slept in a long, long time, maybe a month or longer by the looks of it but no one but she could be sure. The colours in her eyes continued to dance as she looked up at him, however. When he kissed her nose she scrunched it up but accepted his kiss on the lips with the same gentle return.

Viktor felt bad, he hated waking her when she looked that tired, but they had to get ready for breakfast. "Love, I'm sorry, but we've got to get ready for breakfast." He spoke softly, kissing her cheek and neck cutely between words here and there. "You and Aero should get ready to slip out..." He kissed her lips again gently, loving that taste so much.

Even half asleep Desdemona knew how far she could hold things off, and she had a few more minutes. So, nodding, she closed her eyes at his cute little kisses and kissed him back when his lips came to hers. When he released her she moved like she might get up but ended up slipping her arms around him and half hugging him as she laid her head on him for a moment. It only lasted a few seconds before she pushed herself up and began to dress, Aero having brought her the clothes from the edge of the bed.

Viktor got up and dressed himself as well, intending to catch up with her at breakfast anyway. He hugged her back when she did him and couldn't help glancing at her now and then as she got dressed. "I'll see you soon,' he said as he came to her again, pulling her into his arms and kissing her yet again. "I'll be down shortly." He had to feed his sons, but he supposed he could do that after breakfast.

Desdemona finally finished dressing and held her arms out to Aero. The dragon came to her arms, nuzzling her slightly, before climbing up to his spot on her shoulders. The way she moved showed she was still tired and it was the reason she hated going to sleep, she'd never sleep enough and it would take her such a long time to wake up. Nodding, she willingly went into his arms and kissed him back once more. When at last she was able to slip out she made her way carefully into the hall unseen. Slowly she went back to her room. Once there she checked her scheduall. Besides breakfast she didn't have any classes until the afternoon. She went up to her chamber to get clothes to change into and found an note from Lyric saying he left. Without even reading all of it she collapsed onto the bed and fell asleep again, Aero snuggling into her arms.

Viktor brought Desdemona to his chambers, ignoring the whispers that burst out amongst the students. He assured all those who questioned him that Professor Livas was just fine and they were to expect class tomorrow. He laid her down gently on the bed, the three dragons all coming to surround them there lovingly. "Need anything, love?" he asked her gently.

Desdemona had to admit, when she was put down she was happy about it yet she felt some odd tweak in her chest as if him moving away from her hurt. She ignored it before realizing she didn't have to any more. When he spoke she smiled. She curled her finger, calling him forward with a curve of her lips. When he was close enough she kissed him, her head tilting to the side to add to the kiss. She let one hand grip his shoulder/neck while the other locked around the collar of his shirt gently. She really didn't feel like letting him get away. At the same time she didn't push it because of the other dragons, though they moved just slightly, to play on the other side of the bed, being so close.

Viktor came to her from the other side of the bed, laying beside her as she kissed him. He just smiled into the kiss, pulling her against him completely. The dragons ended up moving off the bed, the playing getting a little rough. Viktor let it go for now, not only because he was caught up in the kiss, but because the playing the brothers were doing would be good for them in the long run.

Desdemona's hand moved from his neck to the back of his head and his hair as she just slipped into the kiss completely. Oh he was a wonderful beast. Her tongue flicked against his lower lip as she arched her head back slightly and nipped his lip before slowly falling into the deep kiss once again. She had to admit, loving someone was better than anything else she had ever felt. No...loving Viktor was better. She might have been tired but she liked the kiss more so than anything else and decide she could wait to sleep.

Viktor melted into her completely. Her kiss had him so lost that he didn't even realize where they were after a moment or two. finally though, he pulled his lips from hers, kissing her once more with a soft peck. "You need to get some sleep," he told her with a smile. He didn't separate himself from her though, laying down to actually get more comfortable. He held her and smiled. "I promise I'm not leaving."

Desdemona shifted with him so that her head was on his upper arm and chest. She smiled gently as she looked up at him. "I didn't think you were." She kissed his lips softly and lovingly before she yawned and cuddled to him a bit. "Love," she whispered softly, tiredly, "I have no classes tomorrow...mmm...so don't let me wake up without you and stumble into your class unprepared, please." Chuckling gently, she smiled up at him and closed her eyes gently. She really was tired and so at long last she began to drift off into a deep and well needed sleep.

Viktor chuckled. "You have my word," he said gently, kissing her forehead as she drifted off. He yawned and cuddled her for a bit as his sons climbed up onto the bed as well. Tenelth and Orenth snuggled their father while Aero flew to the other side of Desdemona, snuggling close to her as well. Soon after Viktor fell into a sweet sleep.

As always, Desdemona's innocence shone through in her sleep. Her hand tightened over the cloth of his shirt as she clung to him and her head found it's way to the crook of his neck, staying close to his body, his warmth and seeming protection, as she slept. Even when the night sky began to lighten Desdemona was far from awakening. Her body needed the rest, expecially since she now had to take care of two young creatures in her womb. Aero seemed to understand and would lay on her waist or hip with a clawed paw on the curve of her stomach as he slept, seeming to protect her even then. The dragon on her finger, the oddest ring she'd ever seen, seemed to be alive and in it's own slumber at the moment.

Viktor didn't wake yet as the morning hours came either. he was in a pleasant dream about she and he together and just didn't want to wake up. Viktor had a class today, but it wasn't until an hour before lunch and his alarm would wake him about half an hour before then so that he could wake her as well and make sure she didn't make the same mistake he did.

Desdemona cuddled to him in her sleep, her hand wrapped around him and her face nuzzling into her neck as she slept. By now, early in the morning, she began looking quiet a bit better. The sick look was nearly gone, though she was still quite a bit paler than she had been say two months ago. In her sleep she yawned softly and cuddled so her face was hidden against his flesh. Aero, figuring the light was bothering her, woke up and pulled the blankets up higher onto she and Viktor so that they were covered more. He quickly laid down on her hip again and went back to sleep. The two younger dragons were playing quietly on the floor and also drifting in and out of a lazy sleep all the same.
