Gryffindor Common Room [Tower]

As much as it mortified him, Lysander had to admit it was funny. He kept playing with the cubs until it was his turn. "Oh...truth." He shrugged, not really caring since he didn't really have anything interesting that could be dragged forward in this game anyway.

Lorcan couldn't stop laughing at 'Ross' and his brother. He wanted to make a few comments but he decided not to. When Lianna said she kissed someone else he just chuckled and smiled, not minding. So long as it wasn't while they were together, he was okay with it.

Ash was walking up the steps toward the tower. He was taking his time, trying to think about how to go about this.

"Okay, What's the most embarrassing thing that's ever happened to you in front of a girl?" She smiled innocently and gave him her full attention, leaning against Lorcan all the while.

Rose chuckled a little. She smiled and watched him as well, pulling Saber away and flopping him on his back. At first he moved to get back up then she started scratching his chest and tummy and he relaxed on his back, purring and shifting to a pretty teal color. Rose looked to Lysander to hear his story now.

Victoire slid off the windowsill. She couldn't just sit there now, she knew he was back. She had to know if her sister was alive, if she could be found even... But she stayed where she was. She knew he would probably get angry with her if she ran down there asking a whole bunch of questions ;no, she should just stay here and wait. Oh, but waiting was so difficult, it was her sister in speaking. However, at the same time she knew he was probably a little more worried about Hrukjan at the moment. Victoire tried to push things from her mind, keeping it closed off as best she could, and took to pacing around the dorm room.

Lysander grinned and looked at 'Ross' before chuckling. "When I was trying to cheer up Rose after Scorpius told us he was going to the Halloween Ball with Iris. I didn't know what to do and kept fumbling and acting like an idiot." With a smile, he hugged her, not caring about the dare.

Lorcan chuckled and was about to say something when he heard someone walk in. He moved to peek before he came back, pointed his wand at Rose and put her voice back to normal. "Ash is back."

As the group filed out of their tent Ash watched them. Before Rose could even speak he held up his hand. "Go get Victoire. I don't feel like repeating myself." He had a nasty cut over his right eye that was slightly bleeding and was leaning against a wall as if he had gotten himself into quite a bad fight while he was out.

Rose chuckled a little. "Really? That's your worst!?" She kissed his cheek, but sprung to her feet the second she heard footsteps coming into the common room. She almost forgot about her voice being deep and was about to say something. She closed her mouth and darted up to Victoire's dorm, changing her voice back before he opened the door and looked around. "Victoire," she whispered into the darkness. She could barely see a silhouette against the window, pacing, and assumed it was her. "Ash is back." She moved out of the way as Victoire walked briskly from the room and to the common room. She followed her cousin back downstairs and settled into Lysander's arms tightly, waiting.

Lianna came out as well, her bunny ears and tail very visible and looking as if she were born with them the way she could easily control them. She waited quietly and patiently, her arms around Lorcan tightly.

As soon as the dorm room door was opened Victoire's head snapped in the direction Rose came from. Without a word she moved out the door and down the steps into the common. She was going to ask upon seeing him what he'd found out but, like always, upon seeing him she was more worried for him that her news. She rushed to his side and slid her arms under him, helping him to the couch to sit for a minute. She ripped the sleeve of her clean shirt and picked up a decorative bowl off the table. "Aguamente," she mumbled as water fell into the bowl. She set the rag in it to soak for a minute and turned her attention to him, waiting to hear whatever he had to say.

Ash was just find with leaning against the wall but he moved with Victoire anyway, not really wanting to fight her at the moment. When she touched his bleeding wound with the cloth he growled slightly from the sting. Once he got over it he began to speak. "I found Andrew...sort of. I can't go to their location because of everything that's going on. The person who is hiding them, however, I found and was able to have a letter sent to him. If we're lucky he'll be here tomorrow, if not he'll be here within a week, but he will be here. The person hiding him garrenteed that." He looked at Victoire mainly as he spoke, giving her a silent 'I'll find her' look.

Lysander held onto Rose and listened, nodding gravely. He knew it would be hard to get a hold of those two but Ash seemed to be more valuable than it seemed. At least that was good news if nothing else was.

Lorcan held Lianna tight and was frowning deeply. He nodded a bit gravely but otherwise didn't move or make a sound.

Rose's spirits fell. She wasn't sure they had a week, or a day even. But she knew he was doing his best for her cousin, and she relented. She leaned into Lysander, fighting off a round of tears quite well compared to usual. "Come on, we should get some sleep," she mumbled, walking from Lysander's grasp. She was a little distant but once inside the tent she snuggled as close to Lysander as humanly possible without him being uncomfortable. Saber slipped out to see who was here besides all of them, but once he'd had his fill he came back in and cuddled between Rose and Lianna, his head and a paw resting protectively on Rose's hip.

Victoire listened to him as he spoke, practically dead as she cleaned his wounds, or whatever was visible without removing his clothing anyway. When Saber came out, a curious sea green, he sniffed at them and purred, rubbing against Ash's leg. He bounded off though, missing his Rose quickly. Victoire waited until the others were back in the tent before she spoke in a very low whisper to Ash. "Hrukjan's up... do you want me to get her so you can see her?" Her voice was hard, evident she was fighting back tears. Whether they were tears of worry for her sister or fear he had more feelings for Hrukjan than he ever could have for her was unclear.

Lianna nodded, accepting his information, and again to agree with rose. as they clambered into the tent she snuggled up to Lorcan. She turned her head over her shoulder to glance at her best friend for a second. "It'll be alright Rose..." she said gently, giving her a small smile. She then rolled into Lorcan and kissed the underside of his jaw. "It'll be alright..."

Ash did his best not to growl at the feeling of his cuts and wounds. Instead he focused on the little tiger cub that seemed to like him. As soon as she mentioned Hrukjan, however, he moved. Not in the way she thought he would though. He put his arm around her and yanked her onto his lap, wrapped an arm around her, and let her head fall to the nook of his neck. "No," he said hoarsely. "I'll deal with her in the morning." He rubbed her back awkwardly, still-even being a bit more tame because of his internal need to go make sure Praxis was okay-not exactly sure how to act nurturing to her but he's doing his best for now.

Lysander didn't care about being comfortable. He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her as close as she'd want to be to him and cradled her. Raige was done playing and so climbed over to curl up with his brother, though he too put a paw around her as if for protection and love.

Lorcan didn't like this news at all but he knew they'd have to deal with it. He smiled weakly for Lianna and held her close as they laid down. Even after she fell asleep, however, he was still awake and just staring up into the dying fire that reminded him so much of Dominique's hair and eyes. He was very worried. Before ever even beginning to relax Lorcan wrapped his arms around Lianna even snugger and pulled her over to him as he buried his face in her hair, needing to hide from it all.

As surprised as she was, Victoire calmly closed her eyes and let her hot breath tickle his neck. She thought hew was doing a wonderful job with comforting her, especially knowing he wasn't exactly sure what to do. "Thank you," she whispered. She didn't expect a respond, and was not counting on one. She just felt she should say it, he was doing a big favor for her, and an obviously dangerous one. She slid her arm against his chest, watching her hands just for something to focus on. She figured he'd want to go to bed soon, and so she soaked up whatever he was doing for her for now.

Ash kept as silent as he could but he couldn't help the hoarse growl in his voice when he did speak. It wasn't for a while after her thank you, however. "...Do you want to stay here near your family or go back to bed?" He asked like he didn't care and it was her choice but he held her tightly all the while. "Or somewhere else....?" Ash wasn't tired, he didn't care what she chose but he wanted her to stop trying to be tough. Sure, it was good to do that around him but he was trying to be good to her, she had to try and trust him and let him just take care of her for now.

Victoire let out a very soft sigh, as if tears threatened -which they did- but she held them back for now. However she managed to swallow and speak. "Somewhere else." She just wanted to be far away from everyone right now, her family and her friends. She wanted him around of course, but his actions confused her so. She had become accustomed to his harshness, his abusive tendencies and now... now the way he was being with her sent her mind into a confused frenzy, but she knew she had to just accept it. He changed often, one minute being caring and the next heartless. She knew she had to be used to that, and so far she handled as best as she could and as calmly as she could. She didn't want to break down near those inside that little fort either, she hated the attention they gave her -in her face and all that.

Ash slid his arm under her legs and kept the other on her back. He stood up and left the tower all together. In fact, he left the castle all together. He never said a word as he walked and his face had that hard, dangerous look to it. He slipped onto the grounds and walked to the whomping willow. Curling his body around hers, he let the willow hit him as they went to the little tunnel below and off to the shack.

Victoire continued to hold strong. Until they were in the tunnel under the shack. By that time the tears were pouring out of her and she shook with little sobs. Victoire wasn't one to cry loudly, never had been, but she shook with quiet sobs and clung to him, her head against his chest and her arms around him. She felt so helpless. If something happened to her sister, Victoire would never forgive herself, no matter what anyone said to her.

Ash brought her up to one of the bedrooms in the shack and sat on the dusty couch. He let her hold onto him but didn't crush her like he had been as they walked. He rubbed her back awkwardly but was otherwise very silent and cold. He was a bit kinder to her but otherwise he was the same cruel wolf. The only difference now was his pet was once again a woman. Dammit, he didn't want to deal with that. Little did he know, as the two left the common room Hrukjan had been watching from the stairs. He wasn't sure what to do about that just yet but for now he focused on her and ignored the nagging feeling of Hrukjan trying to talk to him in his mind.

For the first time in a long time, Victoire Weasley fell asleep to tears. She slipped into dreamland while curled up against him and clung to him, the tears still falling even after she fell asleep. They stopped a while later and she slept as she always did, breathing softly and silently and not moving a muscle on her own.

By the time she finally fell asleep Ash couldn't take the pain any more. He was starting to drizzle in and out of consciousness. In a last resort to not wake her, Ash rose with her in his arms and laid her on the bed. He slipped in beside her and held her protectively as she cried in her sleep. Eventually he fell asleep like that, holding her, protecting her.

Victoire woke the next morning, feeling a little more rested after how deeply she'd slept. She stretched a little bit and looked around, nearly forgetting where she was at first. She noticed him still holding her and shrank into him a little. she didn't cry anymore, but she felt broken. Victoire knew she could hold strong and would continue to do so in front her family and whatnot, but sometimes she just couldn't hold back in front of Ash... in was almost as if his behavior demanded her to let go sometimes. And she could not say no. she just lay there for a little bit before she yawned and tried to sit up.

By the time she was awake Ash was only half asleep but his wounds kept him from waking up completely. He didn't move as she moved, which made it hard for her to get up, but he didn't hold her down either. Eventually her movements roused him slightly and he turned so he was on his back, leaving only a hand on her so she could move if she wished.

Victoire struggled silently against him, but when he moved and put his hand on her stomach she easily slid from underneath him. She gave him a glance before slipping out of the room and down the stairs. She began stretching and started meditating in a yoga like fashion. She twisted and contorted her body smoothly, slowly and with tremendous balance. She was just trying to clear her head.

A little while later, groggy, Ash woke up. He growled out loudly and stretched, cracking most of the bones in his body. He got up and started to walk around, not sure where she was and half expecting her not to be there. When he found her doing her yoga he just smirked and leaned against the wall, watching.

Victoire didn't notice Ash, and when she was finished she pulled her hair up. Combing it with her fingers, and facing mostly away from the stairs where Ash was, she pulled it up into a slightly loose pony tail. A few strands fell loose and hung softly beside her face, but everything else stayed up. She wrapped her arms gently around her middle, looking out of the dusty window of the house.

Ash eventually moved in behind her and wrapped his arms around her, pulling her against him. He put his head on top of hers and looked out at the still slightly snowy forest. "Look as hard as you want, she wont be there." He whispered, figuring that was what she was thinking about. He kept his arms around her as he sighed. He wasn't even sure there was anything he could do but he'd try for now. "Ever find out if that other kid was missing too?"

Victoire let out a small sigh, but she let her head calmly droop a little. "Yes, I did... He's missing too..." She took a deep breath. That thought put a little hope in her heart, knowing Eric might have taken her somewhere. 'with any luck, he's taken her and they're hiding out somewhere..." She said in a calm yet slightly hopeful sort of way. She knew they'd have to return soon for breakfast -though she doubted she'd eat much this morning-, plus he had to see Hrukjan now that she was awake. "We should be getting back soon,' she said with a small sigh. She prepared to keep strong for her family once again.

"We're not going anywhere until you feel better." He kept his arms around her and kept them rooted in place, though she could move in his arms. Thinking about it, he supposed he could ask Aurora or Hrukjan for a favor and have them track the girl...but he hated owing them things. Sighing with a wolfish growl, he held her a little tighter. "If it comes down to it...i'll ask a few...friends for favors...they might be able to find her...for a price." He hated dealing with those two...mainly Hrukjan, when she was in her human form. It always lead to trouble for him.

She turned to face him after his first comment, glancing up at him a little curiously. At his next string of words she furrowed her brows a little. "What kind of price?" Just the way he said made her feel a little uneasy about it, but she supposed if he was to be the price she would live with it if he wanted it to be that way.

He made a slight face at her question. "That would depend on what they want from me...this time." A slight growl came from the back of his throat. Obviously he didn't want to deal with whoever he was talking about but in the end he wouldn't have a choice. He kept his hold on her tight and snug, not letting her escape yet, or any time soon it seemed.

Victoire couldn't help but chuckle at him a little. She nodded though and just lay her head against his chest. They had to get to breakfast sometime in the next hour or so, but she wasn't too worried about it at the moment. She was content to stay here with him, still ready to do whatever he wanted really. 'Well, why don't we wait on it... Andrew's supposed to get in touch with you; why don't you wait until then to decide on something else?" She spoke suggestively but not forcefully, her natural calm tone being used.
