Gryffindor Tower [New Era]

Gryffindor Tower is located behind the portrait of the Fat Lady on the Seventh Floor of Hogwarts Castle. A password is required to enter it, which is spoken to the portrait. A circular hole is behind the painting, leading to the common room, which is a circular room where Gryffindor students can relax after a long day of studying. The common room is full of squashy armchairs, tables, and a bulletin board where school notices, ads, lost posters, etc. can be posted. A window looks out onto the grounds of the school, and a large fireplace dominates one wall. The common room is usually where celebration parties are held after Gryffindor Quidditch victories. The Gryffindor dormitories are also located in the Tower, with two doors leading off from the common room that open to spiral staircases. One of them leads to the girls dormitory, the other to the boys. The stairs to the girls dormitories are enchanted to become a slide if any boy attempts to climb them, but not vice versa, since it was deemed that girls were more trustworthy than boys.

Dominique sat on a bench just outside the common room with her legs crossed. The white of her dress was dripping down her pale skin and making her look like a ghost herself. The only color on her beside black was the red and blonde of her hair. She was sitting next to Iris and the two were waiting on Rose to hurry up. Dominique had no idea were Victoire was nor cared for the moment. She knew her sister would appear at the ball like always either way. Lianna was pacing a bit and Dominique chuckled. "Calm down! What's got your blood boiling?"

"Oh leave her alone Dominique! She's nervous, we all are. This is the second biggest dance of the year! The first being only two months away after all. We're all a bit nervous." She blushed slightly, remembering Dominique was going alone again. "W-well, most of us are." Dominique didn't seem to take it harsh, in fact she let out a hallow sounding laugh, but that just made Iris feel bad. she fumbled with the white fur of her jacket-which next to Dominique's matching black one was a bit smoother and looked like threaded silk. "Oh I hope Rose comes down soon!"

Rose finally poked her head out. She blushed and finished stepping out, her dress feeling even more revealing now than it had when she tried it on. "Oh dear," she mumbled to herself, looking herself over. She looked a little different tonight, showing just how much she really was hiding underneath that sweet side of her. The knee high pink boots Iris had let her wear for the night tied the tease off perfectly, leaving only her upper thighs bare. "Alright, we all ready?" she asked in a mouse like voice. She was utterly nervous.

Lianna sighed and sat down, then Rose came out so she stood right back up. Lorcan had picked the outfit she was wearing, one to hold her title as his Gypsy Queen. She smiled to herself, trying to calm her pounding heart down as they made their way to the Entrance Hall

Dominique laughed slightly at the look on Rose's face. "Lovely. Lets go before the boys get anxious and start getting ideas." she lead the girls, elbow in elbow the four of them, down the changing staircases and toward the ball room.

The slits that ran up the dress's side made Iris feel a little nervous. she was known to wear short dresses or elegant things but this was a little new to her. It was a sexy dress that teased in just the right way and, truthfully, she wasn't sure what the effect on Scorpius was going to be. As they made their way down to the entrance hall she just swallowed hard and then put on a look that made it seem like she was what made the out fit have that elegant sexy look, not the dress doing it to her.

Victoire descended the stairs in her white, torn looking dress. The torn fabric had an elegant feel and look to it, as though she made it that way, and the bone bracelet she wore topped it off. The necklace Ash had place on her neck was still there, she didn't dare take it off. She didn't want to. Her eyes scanned the room lightly, but she slowly moved through the common room. A few eyes were on her as her grace took her to the portrait hole. She took a deep breath. Now everything was soon to unfold and Victoire simply wondered... not worried, just wondered how the night was going to pan out.
