Gryffindor Common Room [Tower]

Gryffindor Tower is located behind the portrait of the Fat Lady on the Seventh Floor of Hogwarts Castle. A password is required to enter it, which is spoken to the portrait. A circular hole is behind the painting, leading to the common room, which is a circular room where Gryffindor students can relax after a long day of studying. The common room is full of squashy armchairs, tables, and a bulletin board where school notices, ads, lost posters, etc. can be posted. A window looks out onto the grounds of the school, and a large fireplace dominates one wall. The common room is usually where celebration parties are held after Gryffindor Quidditch victories, or when Harry Potter completed a task for the Triwizard Tournament. It was also the location for Harry and Ginny Weasley's first kiss following Gryffindor's Quidditch Cup victory in 1997. The common room fireplace was used on several occasions by Sirius Black to contact Harry while he was on the run from the Ministry of Magic. The Gryffindor dormitories are also located in the Tower, with two doors leading off from the common room that open to spiral staircases. One of them leads to the girls dormitory, the other to the boys. The stairs to the girls dormitories are enchanted to become a slide if any boy attempts to climb them, but not vice versa, since it was deemed that girls were more trustworthy than boys, although Hermione went into the boy's room once.

Hermione came into the common room and parted paths with Harry. She went to wake Ginny while he went to get Viktor. She went up to the Sixth year girls dorm and entered. She went straight to Ginny's bed and sat down, gently shaking the girl. "Classes are up," she said softly. "I've got to go get Viktor's gift, so I'll meet you downstairs." She smiled and left the room, going to her own dorm room and opening her trunk She had purchased Viktor's gift weeks ago, and keeps it nice and perfect until today. It was a pair of Quidditch Dragon hide gloves that were extremely thin, but kept your hands warm and had amazing grip. Perfect for catching the snitch. She also got him a box of chocolate hears, each of them containing a different piece of fruit in he middle. She went back to the common room to meet up with everyone, but her present was hidden in a leather pouch.

Harry ran up to his dorm to get his bouquet of edible roses and Krum. "Oi, wake up mate. We're done. Hermione's yours for the rest of the day. He gave Krum a friendly grin, opened his bedside table drawer, and pulled out a long box and a box that was a bit bigger. In the long box was a rose that was charmed to never wilt. It was a rose to match Ginny's fiery red and orange hair, the rose giving off the affect that it's on fire. On he stem was the small elegant carving reading, "Ginny Weasley, be my Valentine?". Her opened it and looked at it for a moment, before closing the box and picking up the edible bouquet. He went back downstairs to wait for Ginny, holding the boxes behind his back and the bouquet in front of him.

Ginny groaned and laid there for a moment before she finally rolled off her bed, nearly face planting on the ground but she caught herself at the last minute. Yawning, she jumped up and stretched before fixing her cloths. Sill slightly sleepy, she made her way down the stair, yawning softly. When she saw him her lips curled into a wonderful smile and she nearly tackled him.

Viktor got up and scratched the back of his head, his fingers brushing his short hair. Rubbing his slightly grown gotee, Viktor headed down stairs before Harry and sat down in a chair by the fire. When Hermione came down he smiled and stood up again, grinning at her in a way only she got to see. "'Ermione I missed you." he said gently as he hugged her tightly to his body.

Hermione forgot for a moment about the nights she'd been spending with Draco. She and Viktor had never officially claimed themselves together... though he had been the first to have her. She pushed conflicting thoughts from her mind and hugged him. She handed him his gifts and smiled gently. "I missed you too Viktor," she said, swallowing discretely. "I hope you like them," she said as he opened the gloves.

Harry didn't have to use ll of his strength against her weight, but her fore nearly toppled him. He chuckled and brought his other arm around her, the boxes gently touching her back. He handed her the bouquet, "It's all edible, and sweet. The Petals are juicy like lettuce, but they taste sweet and sugary." He smiled and held out the long box. He kept he bigger box in his hand and kept it closed. She couldn't have this one yet.

Viktor smiled and held her tightly until she finally moved away and gave him the gifts she got. Smiling, he pulled out a magical bag from his pocket and handed it to her. Within were five boxes, two of them old, ancient books that even Hogwarts library didn't have. Another, smaller one was a box of chocolate strawberries, the next a box with a shining necklace of pink pearls that matched her skin wonderfully as the gold shined beautifully. The last was a long, slender box and when opened it was a bunch of papers. It was a vacation planned for her, and her family, to a magical temple in Greenland with everything already paid for.

He opened the box and grinned, looking the gloves over and even trying them out. "I love them, thank you 'Ermione." he moved to kiss her cheek lovingly.

Ginny giggled but blushed slightly at the editable bouquet. "Yum." she said teasingly as she took the bouquet in her hands and took a petal tasting it and smiling at the sweet, juicy taste. When he handed over the box she asked him to hold the bouquet as she looked inside. She was mesmerized by the petals but it was the inscription that got her. Smiling, she hugged him tightly again. "Of course, silly." she whispered, kissing him.

Her heart plummeted into her stomach and Hermione felt her face loose color, but when he looked at her she was blushing a little and looked normal. She was so grateful, and yet she felt like she didn't deserve such a thing. She hugged him tightly, thanking him. "Thank you so much, Viktor. You're so wonderful," she said, tucking her head into his neck and closing her eyes as she held onto him,

Harry held the bouquet out of the way and kissed her deeply, slipping his tongue across hers discretely. He tasted the sweetness of the petal she'd just eaten and he smiled. "Mmm" he mumbled in her ear for only her to here. "You can't have this one yet," he told her, holding up the other box. Inside were strawberries and a container of chocolate sauce he planned to warm before they ate them together. He didn't want to eat them with Hermione and Krum around...

Ginny's eyes closed as they kissed, her lashes fluttering when she felt his tongue. Nipping it slightly, she pulled away just with a smile. When he moved to mumble in her ear she leaned into him, feeling warm and safe and yet at the same time she shivered slightly, not expecting him to sound like that. "Oh not fair~" she teased as she let her arms, now holding the bouquet and the other rose, around him tightly and cuddled to him.

Viktor smiled and ran his fingers through her hair. "No, you are vonderful Ermione." She looked so beautiful to him, he couldn't help but tilt her head up and kiss her gently. "I vont to spend the day vith you, vot vould you like to do?" He said gently, caressing her cheek with his thumb as he kept her face tilted toward his.

"I don't know," Hermione breathed out after the kiss, a part of her wishing it would come back. However, in kissing him she realized this was not going to be forever... She gave him a smile, not letting him see any of these thoughts she was having. Instead she continued to let him see the Hermione he'd seen since the beginning. She held on to her gifts tightly, smiling more as she thought about what he had gotten her. She felt horrible at the moment and at the same time she felt... girlie.

Harry just held onto her tightly. He couldn't wait to get her alone. he wasn't hoping for anything over the top, but Harry really wanted to try to be romantic for once. "Is there anything you want to do?" he asked her quietly, seeing only her. Not anther person existed to Harry right now, just the wonderful red head latched onto him, which by the way he loved.

"I don't know...lets go wherever you want Harry." she said softly, kissing him when he was close enough that she could. She wanted to spend her Valentines day with him and only him, just finding some place to relax. "Lets go somewhere where we can be alone." She smiled gently and cuddled close to him in their hug. She looked up at him and smiled, her eyes shining. She couldn't help it, she loved him so much that it was impossible to hide any more.

Krum smiled and kept her close as he looked around and then down at the window a few paces away. "Would you like to walk on the grounds?" he asked as he looked back at her, his strong arms around her and his new gloves still on as he got use to the feel. He smiled at her, glad to have her there with him.

Harry tried hard to think of a place they could be alone. The Astronomy Tower would have people in it, so would many empty classrooms and all common rooms would be crawling with a party by tonight. "We can go to the pitch if you like?" he finally said. He knew there were stands and locker rooms and space under the stands. They could be alone somewhere in the pitch. "Or we could stay here for a little while if you want." He looked around as Hermione and Krum left. They were the only two in the common room for now so he could spend sometime with her here if she didn't want to leave.

Hermione just nodded wordlessly, smiling up at him in a soft way. She truly could say that she loved him, but she was beginning to truly believe it was more like a friend too. She wasn't quite sure how or when she would be able to tell him this, but for now she just went with the moment. "Sounds lovely," she finally said, leaning into him and walking with him

"Lets go." She said with a smile, knowing he wanted to get out of here. Sure she didn't know why he wanted to, but she could see it in his eyes. As Krum and Hermione left she just chuckled and smiled, glad to see the two together again. "Well, what are we waiting for." she said as she turned to him, a small laugh leaving her lips as she took his hand in hers, holding the flowers in the other, and started for the door with him, happy as could be.
