Andrew sat them all down at the table. When Praxis moved to leave the room he grabbed her arm. Of course, as always it was pointless to fight her. He let her slip from his hand reluctantly. "I'll be right back," he told the children as he got up to check on Praxis. He smiled at her slightly, and went back downstairs, starting to feel like he was being too paranoid. However, as he went back into the dining room both Dreama and Cyprus were missing. Instantly Andrew saw nothing but red. He knew they had either gotten frightened and went upstairs or something had happened to them. He bolted for the stairs to his bedroom but he didn't find them there. "Damnit," he growled. Just as he passed the window an owl flew in as it was already open. He grabbed it, skimmed it, and wrote back.

He doesn't have her. we're at my fathers manor. Something's not right... please, if you can come... bring help... He's not to be underestimated.

He looked around and started panicking. He handed the letter to the owl and bolted from the room. He handed the owl the letter. "Hogwarts is not that far away. I better either have a letter or him within an hour..." he growled darkly, tossing the owl out the window, closing it, turning swiftly on his heel, and marching from the room. He had a sick feeling come over him. Fear, he could smell it... Merlin, he could feel it... Praxis! Andrew flew down the stairs quicker than ever, searching for his children on the way down. He felt as though his heart may explode, but as his eyes came upon the door into the basement he swallowed hard. He closed his eyes, regained his composer, promised himself silently that he would personally be the one to kill that low-life calling himself Andrew's father, and made way for the basement.

Praxis saw Andrew and tried to call out to him, wanting to tell him not to go in the basement but there was no hope. She was silenced. Behind her, in two cages, were the children who were both passed out with a sleeping spell. Praxis started to shake with fear, not only from the fact that she was in Sydney's arms but also that it was her fault Andrew was in danger. When she was tossed aside she fell against the wall and on the floor with a thud as she tried to get free.

As Andrew took his first steps down into the basement Sydney closed the door and locked it magically with a spell he had never taught his son. Grinning, he knocked on the door they way he use to when he use to leave Andrew locked in one of the dungeons. "Hello son." his voice was dark and dangerous. "Don't worry, I'll treat her nice before I leave her with your mother." He laughed as he left, though not before setting up boundaries so he couldn't get out easily.

Andrew cursed himself the second he heard the door click closed. He spun and both of his hands came down on it with much force as he heard the knocking. "No..." he growled to himself. he heard his father speak and wished with all of his might he was larger than this room. Just so that he could relish in ripping off every limb of his fathers... slowly. Andrew banged on the door, he cried out, "Nooo!" and he eventually collapsed beside it. He couldn't just let that thing touch her... not again. Andrew began searching the room and trying every spell he knew and knew of. When nothing worked Andrew let out a fierce scream of rage. Goddammit how could he be locked in here again... this would be the third time she would die and he could do nothing about it... Andrew pushed that thought aside and began trying various spells again.

As Andrew began looking around a hand came out and went over his mouth. When he freaked out a gentle 'shh' came from behind him as he was let go. "Well you've grown." Lyric, still looking a mess if not worse, looked down at Andrew and grinned. "Don't ask, just let me help." Lyric sent a spell at the door that weakened it. It wasn't until something hit the door that the lock broke completely though. "Go, help her, I'll appear again soon." Using one of his special spells, Lyric disappeared again.

Praxis laid there trying to get her hands out of their binding. She was crying slightly by now and the acid in her tears burned through the gag in her mouth, letting her spit it out. When she was grabbed and picked up, slammed against the wall until she couldn't help but feel every part of Sydney, Praxis screamed in a weeping way. She tried to get away, she even tried to transform but she couldn't do a damned thing.

"Shh shh don't ruin the games already." He grinned and pulled out a vampyric blade, meant to slowly poison and kill her, though leaving him enough time to have his way. He brought it to her neck but didn't touch her flesh just yet, he turned her around and brought it to her stomach. "I heard something....something that infuriated me...this little freak needs to die before I let it's freak of a mother die with it." He pulled the knife back and got ready to slice open her stomach.

Praxis screamed again. "NOOO!" this time it wasn't in the way that said fear for her or Andrew. No it was the type of scream that only a mother could let off. The kind that said her baby was in trouble. Just as the blade was about to get her a bright red, blood coloured aura lit up around her and pushed him away, slamming him into the basement door. She fell down the wall, sobbing as the aura kept a sheild around her before slowly disappearing again.

Andrew wasn't quite sure, but the more he stared at this man the more he looked like... no, it couldn't be.. He gave a simply nod and , before he could say thank you the man was gone. Andrew was quite sure he'd just seen Praxis' father, but he couldn't be positive. He moved through the halls slowly. He used his upgraded hearing to listen, and he heard Praxis' far in the distance. However... as she screamed Andrew's eyes dilated and he felt every muscle in his body tense. He took off without even thinking. However, when he neared the room and heard her sobbing followed by nothing else, he knew she was at least alive. he slowed down and peered into the room, holding his breath with ease. His eyes came on her, still fully clothed. He silently thanked Merlin for that before he laid eyes on his father. Andrew didn't know what to do, he wasn't sure how to beat him. He felt the silver blood from Hrukjan flowing through him, giving him many ideas, and slowly Andrew let himself change completely into form before he slipped into the room silently, hidden in the shadows. he silently prayed that Ash got his letter.

Sydney saw Andrew before the boy disappeared. Hissing, the man transformed as well, only unlike what Andrew knew, Sydney slipped off completely. Andrew, being only Half vampire, he wasn't in as much control of his forms as a full vampire, like Sydney, was. So, the moment he slipped into his full form he also disappeared nearly completely. He appeared again picking up Praxis' by the throat. She started whimpering and trying to get away. When Andrew appeared again he threw the girl across the room.

Just before she hit the wall that aura shot out again, shielding her and cracking the stones until they began to crumble. The force alone had her passing out as she fell onto the floor, though this time if anyone came within a few feat of her the shield popped up again.

Lyric was outside testing the walls. He was going to do something very dangerous and he had to make sure his princess and the others-besides perhaps Sydney- were out of the way. He started testing areas and listening to the going ons inside as he searched.

Andrew didn't move for her. he was about to, but he saw the shield like aura surrounding her. He let out a low growl. Dammit, where was Ash when he needed the brute!? Andrew knew he could kill his father, but whether or not he could kill his father before that bastard hurt his beloved or his children... well that he didn't know. Little did Andrew's father knew that Andrew had had a taste of shaman blood and had new abilities neither of them knew much about. Andrews panoramic vision kept everything in his view, and he was able to take in everything that could possibly aid them in the room. He was prepared to die down here today if it meant Praxis' and the children's freedom. He simply got ready to defend.

Sydney saw that Andrew wasn't moving for the girl and was playing it safe. Smart. So he went back toward her and was about to get to the forcefield when an explosion sent him flying into another wall and hit with a few rays of sunlight that had him hissing and retreating to the shadows. As a full blood he couldn't handle the sun like Andrew could, never was able to.

Lyric ignored his gut feeling about going in right away and waited a few seconds. He did so well for when he finally used his special spell to break through the wall he got right through and hit Sydney. When he saw Praxis looking up he smiled down at her and then held his wand out toward Sydney with a wicked grin. "Well old friend, looks like it's about time you get a taste of what you've done to everyone else." He activate a spell that filled the room with sunlight, weakening Sydney considerably.

The explosion woke Praxis up slightly so she looked over the light. When she saw his silhouette she gasped. "D-daddy...?" she mumbled before the pain in her body from hitting the wall earlier made her drift in and out of consciousness.

Andrew prayed with all of his might that the force field would protect her again, when the explosion happened. At the sound of the hiss Andrew moved, knowing what that meant. As Lyric rushed in, Andrew slipped behind him and checked on her. She was out, but he knew she at least had a pulse and it did not look like Sidney had touched her. Oh thank Merlin... Andrew sighed a little but he stood up completely void of emotion. His dead eyes came in line with his fathers, supposed to be his better. But Andrew knew better. The sun burned him but only slightly, Andrew was so used to it by now it made no difference to him. His eyes had gone black with only the silver floating in the center like an ethereal fire.

As Andrew came closer the shield held up and held him back for a while as well. It wasn't until whatever was making the force realized who it was. As the field went down it focused on her stomach, disappearing where Helios would have been within her. It seemed he was protecting her.

Lyric looked down at him with a dark look. He pulled out his wand and started moving it around until a blue whip like before he shot them at him. The blue wrapped around his arms and legs. "All your's." He said as he stared down at the man who was trying to kill his baby girl.

Sydney hissed out at the sun and cursed Lyric for the restraints. He could still move and attack but he had no possible chance of getting anywhere near Praxis or Dreama/Cyprus. He hissed and did his best to attack Lyric but no matter what he did the man didn't seem to feel a thing.

Andrew waited, even an extra few seconds after Lyric left the man to him. He stood there motionless while the man tried his best to attack Lyric. Then with all his might he pointed his wand at his father and as quickly as he could he flung his father into the wall across the room with tremendous force. He hovered and spun his father before sending him headfirst back into the wall opposite the room again. He felt his anger, it was at a level he couldn't even imagine at this point. All Andrew could see right now was Sidney Higgins, no matter what he hid behind or touched Andrew saw him, felt him. And he was determined to make him hurt more than any other on this planet ever had. Andrew pointed his wand straight at the mans chest and muttered "Crucio." As the spell hit him Andrew let more pain and anguish into that curse than he had anything in his entire life.

As demented as the lot was, Lyric was entertained by the pain Sydney felt. He was a lot different now and yet he was slightly the same. As Andrew let his anger out the man turned toward his daughter. The field went up again so he couldn't touch her but he just tilted his head to the side and looked at how she had grown. He felt so bad for having left her...for having left so much to happen.... Sighing sadly, he wished he could touch her.

Sydney was able to stand against being thrown around but Crucio and the sunlight combined was crumbling him. He didn't scream out yet though, no, he took a lot more pain than that. He didn't scream out until after a long while of it and a lot of force. He fought against it, however, pushing it back like he had trained himself to do years ago. No, he wouldn't be beaten by his own spell.

For a while Andrew fought him, overpowering him with all the hatred he had inside of him for the man. However he finally stopped with it. Instead he shot a wizards de-limbing spell at him and shot off one of his hands instead. he watched him suffer for a bit before he used the spell again, muttering "Crucio" so low and dangerously it could be felt throughout the room.

Sidney felt the pain when he cut off his hand but he also felt the freedom. He used that to start getting out of Lyric's restraints. When the next Crucio came it took him a little time before he could push it off again. Once he did he got out of the restraints and went after Andrew, sending a Crucio his way. Just as the words got out of his mouth, however, something odd happened.

Praxis was still passed out but hearing Sydney say that and nearing the cringe in Andrew made a slight scream of 'no' echo from her lips. The forcefield around her spread out around him and the spell was bounced off of it and straight at Sydney, who couldn't take his own power and started to cringe in pain.

Andrew couldn't help the smirk that tugged at the corners of his lips -barely, and going unnoticed- as his son's energy extended to him as well. Andrew walked up to him slowly. He stayed far enough away from the cringing man claiming to be his father so that he could not touch him. He lifted his wand and, as if it were something he'd been doing for a long time, he gently flicked it and said clearly, but not forcefully, "Sectumsempra." A cut slashed across Sidney's abdomen and started bleeding immediately. He muttered it again, this time in the direction of the man's head, and slashed him across the face. Andrew knew his father would be aware that those cuts would never heal without magical help and right now he had none. He was meant to bleed out now, and die. Andrew said over and over again, leaving cut after cut on Sidney that began dripping or pouring blood immediately.

Eventually his own spell stopped and he was left only with the pain caused by his son. Taking that pain, he slowly stood up. He knew Andrew wouldn't get closer so he kept an eye on Lyric. Taking his chances, he ran out of the hole in the wall and made his limping escape. At least, he thought he did.

Draco had arrived a while ago but for fear of his family was keeping his distance. It wasn't until Sydney got free that he moved into action. Being as silent as possible, Draco used a spell to bind Syney's legs and trip him just in time for him to get caught.

Ash had been on his way when he noticed someone running from the house. Grinning, he caught up with Sydney and picked him up, bringing the bloody man back toward the hole in the wall without question. "Looked like you lost something." His strength was far greater than Sydney's when in direct sunlight and so the man had no choice but to endure Andrew's attack until he was done.

When he heard someone else's voice, Lyric disappeared again, making sure no one saw him. It couldn't be known that he was free or he'd be in a lot of trouble, not to mention it would lead to worse things for the rest around him. So, keeping his distance, Lyric watched and waited until Andrew and the rest were alone again.

Andrew growled deeply and started after him as he tried to escape. He didn't get more than a few steps though before Ash was walking in with him. He stopped dead, even took a step back. Andrew used a spell on him that very slowly sowed his lips shut and his eyes open. He forced him to watch himself bleeding out. "Care for a last drink?" he said without a hitch in his voice or a teasing grin. He simply said it, his tone as dead as his eyes, and tilted his head to the side slightly as if interested by an experiment. "Hold him in the sunlight, Ash," Andrew said none too forcefully. It was a mere suggestion but as Ash faced him toward the sun more Andrew finally did grin a bit. He couldn't help it; though he would never admit it he supposed he was a bit sick, like his father. He too found no guilt in killing a family member... though he greatly doubted Sidney could be called such. When finally he was done torturing him Andrew was simply. he set his wand directly against Sidney's heart and -with a calm tone- he said, "avada kedavra." He watched his fathers face grow lifeless and droop before he finally gave Ash a small nod, a thank you without his words being used, and turned to his future bride. Merlin if things got much harder he'd marry her before tomorrow was out! He rushed to her, and lifted her up.

"I-I've got to get the children upstairs, made to believe they hadn't woken up yet and merely were dreaming... I've got to get her to the bed too... make sure she's alright..." Andrew spoke with a rough, still rather dead tone to his voice. He waited a moment. If he had to he would carry Dreama and Praxis if someone could grab Cyrpus. There was no way in hell he was leaving any of them in this wretched basement. He also wondered what he was going to do with Sidney's body. Cut it up and burn it... then you'll know he's never coming back... he thought to loud to himself.

Because of Hrukjan's blood in his system Andrew's thoughts that were so loud as that Ash heard him like he spoke, or at least, it might have seemed that way. All in all, Ash just wanted to destroy something. "I'll get rid of this." He put Sydney over his shoulder and went to start a fire behind the house.

By the time Andrew went to get the children the cages were gone. "Don't freak out." Lyric said as he walked out toward him with the children in his arms. "Your coming to my house. I wont take any arguments, there are dangers besides your father and do you want the children to wake up in a house like this when you can leave?" He didn't let him answer. Without another work she walked toward the hole in the wall. "Get her and come out here so we can leave, no one else can know."

Andrew looked around. he supposed it would work. He followed Lyric outside, glancing around to see Ash making the fire. "We're leaving. If I find out where the Weasley girl is, I'll write you." he said as he walked away with Praxis in his arms. "Thank you," he said just before he turned from him. He followed Lyric, unable to really argue with the man, he made good points. He just held Praxis close and silently thanked Helios for his help.

As Andrew came back, Lyric having been hiding from Ash's view, the man wrapped an arm around Andrew while the other held the children to him. Within moments the two disappeared, though not appearated. It was similar to what Desdemona did only the group didn't disappear completely. They more like became a orb that moved quicker than the eye could see until they were in a brightly coloured field of flowers. "Cytis Lake Manor, Birmingham." Lyric whispered in Andrew's ear. Within moments the home appeared, one that no one had seen since Lyric was sent off, the Clementine Manor. One that was two times bigger than the Higgins Manor and covered in beautiful gardens and bright colours. Lyric, was obviously the secret keeper.
