Ravenclaw Common Room [Tower]

Subject: Ravenclaw Common Room [Tower] Thu Sep 23, 2010 9:04 pm

The Ravenclaw Tower is located on the west side of Hogwarts, the staircase leading up to the common room is presumably located on the fifth floor, and is the location of the Ravenclaw common room and dormitories. The entrance to the room is at the top of a spiral staircase, and is a door without doorknob or keyhole but a bronze knocker in the shape of an eagle. In order to enter the room, a person must answer a question asked by the eagle knocker; if they answer incorrectly, they must wait for someone else who gets it right. The Ravenclaw common room is one of the most airy rooms at Hogwarts. It is a wide, circular room with a midnight blue carpet, arched windows hung with blue and soft, silks, and a domed ceiling painted with stars. During the day, the Ravenclaw students have an excellent view of the surrounding mountains. The room is furnished with tables, chairs, and bookcases; and by the door leading up to the dormitories, there is a tall statue of Rowena Ravenclaw made of white marble.

Rose stirred slightly, curling into Lysander a little. She slowly opened her eyes, seeing his bed hangings and chest as she did so. She smiled softly to herself, letting her fingers trail over his muscular chest for a minute. She moved flush against his side, her head in the crook of his neck, and began planting soft kisses on his skin. She pushed herself up a little, making a trail of kisses from his neck down his chest to his stomach, and back up again. Her lashes trailed butterfly kisses along as well as she did so. She smiled down at him, still exposed to him. She was a little shy but that was just her personality. She didn't feel the need to hide from him but her cheeks were a soft pink.

Scorpius walked into the common room with her, pulling her to the couch. He lay down quickly, tugging her flush against him to lay atop him. "I love you," he told her with a genuine smile. He cupped her cheek and kissed her gently, but passionately. Then he laid his head against the arm of the couch. "You should write your parents. Let them know to go ahead with the party planning," he told her with a sly grin. Now she would know they already knew of this, but he hoped she wouldn't be upset with him. He kissed her surprised cheek and smiled. "My family's old fashioned. You think I would ask you to marry me without convincing your mother I'm good enough for you? Not a chance,' he told her with a wicked grin and he kissed her again.

A small gasp escaped her lips as she was pulled down to lay on top of him, but she just let out a soft chuckle before her fingers traced his jaw as she kissed him back. "I love you too." Iris smiled and laid her head down on his shoulder but only for a moment before she moved to look at him with wide eyes. Before she could say anything they were kissing again. When finally he gave her a moment to speak she shook her head, bewildered. "How...how on earth did you convince my stubborn mother?" A grin cracked along her lips and she let out a soft sigh. "Scorpius your pure magic." she laid her head on his shoulder and cuddled close to him. "I'll write to her in the morning."

Scorpius laughed and gave her a wink. "It's a secret, love." he told her, grinning. He held her gently, his hands roaming her back, rubbing and tracing random patterns. "I'm glad it pleases you," he told her. "I know you don't feel very comfortable with my family, but my father's not a Death Eater. And he left my mother years ago, who he found out was. Will you meet him?" he asked, well, almost pleaded of her. there was a sadness in his eyes, as if he expected her to tell him 'no' without second thought. And if so he would try to convince her, but he hoped it wasn't going to be difficult.

Iris looked down into his eyes, seeing the sadness, and didn't say anything for a while. She was thinking. Her hair tumbled over her shoulder, the lush waves curving perfectly against her flesh and pooling on his chest just slightly. Her eyes were bright, reflexing the fire as she looked at him. When he went to speak again she put a finger over his lips and finally nodded. "I'll meet your Father." she smiled softly and pulled her finer away. "I trust you, and if you say your father isn't a Death Eater then I'll believe you." She reached up and pushed back a strand of his hair, smiling at him all the same. Iris loved him...how could she not meet the man who brought him into existence? Not matter how much she disliked the Death Eaters, she could at least give him a try. It had been hard enough finding out Scorpious might have been from a family of Death Eaters, but she kept trusting him, she can try to trust his father.

Scorpius hugged her so tightly he was afraid he hurt her, and kissed her so passionately he thought she might melt right there. "He'll love you." He told her happily. he was excited. He couldn't wait to send word to his father. Of course he had known Scorpius found a woman to marry, but he hadn't known much about her yet. "He's been going mad at home without me, trying to figure out who you are." he said with a chuckle. "And you'll possibly have a chance to meet his girlfriend... if he's decided to bring her into the open yet." [[OOC: IE Hermione, =P]] Scorpius was beyond happy. He was absolutely ecstatic right now and could not wait for her to meet his father now. "I love you, you know that. I love you, I love you, I love you!" each time he said it he kissed a cheek, an eyebrow, something on her face before finally kissing her again.

Iris giggled furiously, not being able to help it. He was attacking her with love and kisses, it was any girl's weakness. "I love you I love you I love you I love you I love you too!!!!" She cried between fits of giggles as she gave up on trying to escape his loving kisses. Slipping her arms around him, she just clung to him until finally his lips were on hers and she could attack him right back with all her love. She forgot all about her worries over his father and just went on kissing Scorpius, the mot amazing guy she had ever known. When he finally let her breath she took a deep breath and smiled, kissing him again. "I love you Scorpius!" she said with a smile powerful enough to melt right to his heart.

"And I love you, Iris. I am yours and I will remain yours long after the end of time," he told her smile, which captured him and made him unable to frown. "Do you really love me?" he challenged without a single harsh feeling. When she answered he smiled even wider. "Good, then that's all I really need from you." He knew they'd fooled around a time or two on the couch, when everyone else slept, but he did not want this to end up like his second year. Sure he was only twelve, but even at that age he felt strong feelings for Dominique, and her friends ruined it. She quickly got new friends, thankfully, but in case any of Iris' friends tried to tell her the same, Scorpius wanted to be sure the same thing did not happen. "You do know I would never force you, or ask you, to do anything you're not comfortable with, right? It's very important that you know that," he said to her, almost urgently.

"Of course I love you, Scorpius." she said in a way that if she wasn't in such a good mood would have sounded hurt. she gave him a sweet kiss and moved her arms up his body, locking them behind his head as she snuggled to him gently. He surprised her with the new topic but then again he was surprising her a lot lately. She frowned slightly and kissed his nose. "Yes I know that." She smiled and kissed his cheek. "Don't worry Scorpius, I know that, what did someone say something?" she was confused by the way he was acting.

"No, no. No one's said anything..." he told her. He wasn't really sure if he should tell her about second year or not, especially as close as she was to being his bride. However, he let out a soft sigh. "My second year was a little bit hell for me and a girl because of the girls friends... they made her believe I would only stay with her if she slept with me... and she tried to do just that. I didn't let it happen and we broke up and she's been somewhat cold to me ever since. I'm pretty sure she's still mad at me for it, but I swear to Merlin I never forced anything on her." Scorpius spoke honestly, sure to tell her he didn't cause it. "I think it's important to wait until your wedding night for that, but someone told her otherwise. I just... don't want to loose you the same way is all." He gave her a small smile and kissed her cheek. "I really do love you," he told her honestly. he would always care about Dominique, this he knew, but he would never stop loving his Iris. She was his world now.

Smiling gently, Iris nodded and listened. She understood very well, simply because she knew the way girls worked. And because she knew what he was talking about. Dominique had never told her the name of the guy, but she had written her during the school year and explained what had happened. Iris laid her head on his shoulder and cuddled him. "I'm sorry that happened. I believe you." she smiled and decided if he wasn't going to say it was Dominique she'd keep it a secret as well. "I love you too." she gave him her most loving smile and a gentle kiss.

Scorpius held onto her tightly. Iris was very understanding and it was just another thing that he loved about her so. "Do me a favor," he said to her, catching her gaze and changing topic again, addressing another worry on his mind. "don't hide your looks on our wedding day. I want you to have the best everything, and the wedding of your dreams. I want you to be proud of your heritage and show off for once." He was smiling vividly at her, his arms resting on the small of your back. Scorpius was entirely comfortable with her, and it showed. the only other girl he'd ever been so completely comfortable with was Dominique. Since that time he would simply kiss his girlfriends and let them lean in his arms. Other than that Scorpius never really... melded with someone, and certainly not just to chat. "You're beautiful," he told her suddenly, kissing her forehead. He kissed her softly, he loved doing that, and ran a hand through her hair

"Hmm?" she looked up at him, smiling as their gazes met. Chuckling once he was finished explaining, she nodded gently. "Alright, I will." she whispered with a smile. "We can make everyone jealous." chuckling gently, she put her fingers against his jaw line, her nails tapping against her skin gently. When he kissed her forehead she smiled, blushing slightly. Leaning her head up, she pressed her lips to his and smiled into the gentle kiss. Feeling his hand in her hair just made her lips curve softly, her smile bright and genuine. When they pulled away from each other she smiled, looking into his eyes. "I love you, so so much Scorpius."

"Good, Scorpius said. "We'll be together forever!" He smiled at her and just cuddled her for a while. When he finally got tired he kissed her forehead and asked, "Do you want to go to bed?" he could handle the torment from the guys for sleeping on the couch with her, but if she wanted to go to bed, he could use a nights red in bed.

Iris giggled and nodded. "Yes we will be!" She cuddled with him, talking with him about nothing important for a while. She looked into the fire when he finally kissed her forehead and spoke again she let out a soft yawn. At first she wanted to say not but then she figured he'd like a night in his own bed. "Mmm sure" she yawned again and cuddled him, kissing his cheek.

Scorpius smiled gently and stood up with her. "the ring suits you," he said, fingering it. "You deserve it," he told her earnestly, looking into her beautiful eyes and holding her hand. he kissed her hand and then he kissed her, pulling her against him in a hug. 'I love you, sleep well," he said kindly. he watched her go up to her dorm before turning and finally going to his own.

She smiled, not able to help but look down at the ring. She loved it. It took some time to get use to but she was getting better at it. Looking back up at him, she was just in time for his kiss, which she took graciously. "I love you too...sweat dreams..." with a quick hug, Iris walked up to her dorm. Tomorrow would mean back to her disguise but that was one of the reasons she loved Scorpius. He could see past that and love her even if she hid her beauty. Dressing in a early see-through night gown and braiding her hair in pigtails, she slipped into bed trying not to wake anyone and went to sleep with a smile on her face and her fingers curling around that ring.

Scorpius sat at the window the next morning, sending an owl off with his letter to his father. The letter stated that he'd bring Iris to the manor this coming weekend to meet him and his... well whatever she was. He sat there in the window, smiling uncontrollably. Things were not going to turn out like they did before, not by a long shot. He wouldn't let it happen. Scorpius scribbled a note and enchanted it to float up to the girls dorm and rest on Iris pillow for her once she woke,and left the common room. He headed to the Great Hall, intent on making things right.

The note read:
Morning lovely. I've got something to take care of quick, I'll meet you in the Great Hall for breakfast.... Hey, guess what? I love you beautiful.

Iris woke up not long after and yawned gently. The other girls were either gone or gossiping as they dressed. The first thing she saw was the note, which made her grin. Reading it as she laid there, holding it above her, she couldn't help but smile. After fully waking up, she stretched and pulled out some cloths. Slipping into a long, black dress with a dark blue vest that covered her chest and made a frill down her body, she started her disguise. The last piece, her glasses, were slipped on skillfully before she left to meet him in the Great Hall.

Lorcan held onto Lianna as they slipped into the common room. He kissed her cheek over and over and over again. "Lia Lia Ima make you a kitty next!" He chuckled before Scorpius opened the portal. Once in the commonroom the group chatted until the door opened again and they all grinned. "Guys you missed the BEST D.A.D.A EVER!"

Iris laid against Scorpius as they got into the room. She relaxed until the door opened and the group went insane. Blushigng again, she hid her face into Scoripus and just tried to ignore the thoughts that popped into her head. She wouldn't say best, but she would say strangest.

Lysander opened the door and slipped in with Rose. When they saw everyone else he chuckled only to arch his brow. "Really? What happened?" He quickly went over and sat in a chair by the fireplace, only to pull Rose onto his lap and cuddle to her. He ignored the pain in his chest as he waited for someone to explain.

Scorpius chuckled at Iris' embarrassment, but he too thought it was absolutely the best D.A.D.A. ever. He plopped onto the couch when they had entered, letting Iris lay against him and hide. He laughed a little more though, grinning ear to ear. "Let's just say I won that bet," His eyes flashed as he smirked at Lorcan.

Liana giggled as always. She just sighed contentedly as they told Lysander and Rose of their class. When Lorcan finally sat down she -expecting it- was pulled into his lap and wrapped her arms around his neck, snuggling to him gently. He let them talk and just enjoyed the comfort of he common room.

Rose let out a cute giggle as she was pulled into Lysander's lap. She cuddled to him, but tried her best not to hurt him. was confused when Scorpius spoke, and looked between them all as if asking for the story.

"Come on spill it! This is boring, bet or not you two gamble more than muggles! Explain." He rolled his eyes as he snuggled to Rose. Smiling, he held her like the most precious thing he had, and she was just that. All the work up got him couching and a few drops of blood slipping over his lips, which he quickly brushed away and waited for someone to explain.

Iris shook her head when Rose asked her to explain. She was far too embarrassed to try and even think about it. Her arms slipped around Scorpius and she just used him as a pillow while she stretched out on the couch the two seemed to always fall asleep on. It was their couch basically.

After kissing Lianna, Lorcan rolled his eyes. "Fine fine, I'll explain. So we were in class right? These two baby dragons showed up and started flying around. It was great! Then, during all the commotion guess who runs in! Nope! Professor Lennald ran in but not from the hall...." He smirked while the two exchanged glances. "Yep. He ran into the room from her chamber door. Not only that! He was wearing these torn up clothes that basically fell off his body as if he had been attacked by some animal! It was great." He couldn't stop laughing as he told them.

Rose was interested in the story, she only noticed the blood when he wiped it away. A part of her frowned inside, but she just focused on the story. One way the twins seemed to be alike was the way they handled this situation they had.. She began laughing at Lorcan's story, but it was a cute little one. "Oh my! I bet he was so embarrassed. that poor man," she said, feeling sorry for the professor.

"Yeah, and then she sent him back into her chambers instead of out! So when we all left she went back in there, mate!" Scorpius added, grinning broadly. He was relaxed, his arms around Iris gently so that she could hide if she needed to.

"Yeah well, would you really want to be walking around the school in nothing but your shorts mate? I mean really, she did him a favor with that part. This school's gonna be ablaze with the news." He laughed and wrapped his arms around Rose tighter. "Gotta say I'd much rather have gone back in that room embarrassed then walk through the class with nothing on but my shorts and then have to walk through the school!" He laughed as he kissed Rose's cheek.

Iris yawned softly as she laid her head on Scorpius and closed her eyes. This might have been embarrassing but she was more tired than anything. As they spoke she kept her face hidden, not in the mood to be seen blushing as horribly as she was.

Lorcan laughed and nodded. "I gotta agree with Lysander on this one, she kinda did him a favor. I'm not surprised she went back in there though. I mean come on, they are either going to have to come out to the school as a couple now or come up with some horrible lie." He laughed until another thought popped into his head. "You know...she is the D.A.D.A teacher and she has dragons around...who knows what she can get her hands on...hehe, we might all be stuck drinking a potion that makes us all forget about it! Oy that would be horrid."
