Viktor's Palace

Welcome to the Palace. It rests on the lake in a hidden place. It has a very Egyptian feel to it and an eerie aura that surrounds it. Much like Hogwarts, Muggles and Wizards unwelcome alike will remember something when nearing it and wander off. Also, much like Grinwauld Place, there are spells to hide it from unwelcome eyes. Only members of the Order, and those accompanying them directly, are allowed entrance and the sight. All of the major meetings are held here, and sometimes members will stay for periods of time, whether in hiding or in resting.

Viktor apparated to the edge of a rather large lake. The lake looked completely bare, and they had appeared on a dirt path. "This way," he gestured with his hand, leading her down the path. He had her bag again for her. "I think you'll like it," he said, as they slowly made their way around the massive body of water. They reached a dock and as the two walked out onto it, he brought his hand to the small of her back gently, and the ship came into view for her. A large ship, styled much differently than a normal one, appeared to rise out of the water for her. "there are spells on it, so no use trying to break in without me. You can't find it if you're not with me or another Order member." he told her casually, as they reached the door. He let her admire it for a moment before he opened the door and let her in.

Let the games begin. She figured this was it, there was no reason to keep their secrets and she was right when he started speaking. "I doubted there wouldn't be." She said with a soft shrug as she looked the ship over. It was elaborate, she'd give him that, but she'd never be able to stand something so...shiny. Ugh it was far to bright and well bloody big. Sure her dungeons were large and could span the length of england if so she wished but they had a meaning behind them...this just looked like a mansion and mansions bothered her. Then again she wasn't going to say that was all this ship was, after all it was the newest headquarter of the Order. When he lead her inside she slipped in silently, her eyes scanning everything carefully as to not miss a single thing. After a few moments she stepped away from him and put her hands over her ears. The mirror earrings were spinning constantly and started to turn in a purple fire. "Oh bloody." She muttered. "Yes yes these are dark magic but they are for me to keep in touch with a pregnant comrade, can you disarm the bloody spell?" She asked gently, not hiding anything of the sort. She needed these mirrors to keep an eye on Praxis over the weekend and she wasn't about to let them stop working. Nor was she about to try and disarm the spell herself. Sure she had a feeling which spell this was and could probably have done it but she wasn't going to over step her boundaries just yet. She was now trapped in the Order's world.

Viktor followed her in quickly, disarming the spells only after chuckling at her. "Now I know you could have done that..." he said, referring to disarming the spell. However he grinned at her, his normal kind grin. "But I appreciate the courtesy," he told her as he moved to her to take her coat. He slipped it off her shoulders, letting his fingers drape to encase each shoulder as he did so. He slipped it off her swiftly, leaving the sleeves perfect as he hung it on a coat rack, sticking from the wall. The rack was in the shape of a smooth, Elven style dragon head, which closed its mouth around her coat and laid its head gently against the wall, chirping happily. Viktor smiled, taking his own coat off and handing it over to the next hangar, a sister to the dragon head beside it. "Would you like a tour to start, or would you like to see your room for the next few nights?" Then he turned back to her for her answer.

Huffing lightly after her coat was taken away, Desdemona returned to looking around. She had a feeling she'd be bothered by these little charms of his for a while. Then again if he ever came to her abode he would be bothered as well, not that that would ever happen. Pushing back a strand of bright purple hair behind her ear, letting it bleed into the blue and green, she watched him put his coat up. "Either is fine with me." She said as she forced her smile back upon her lips. The mirrors on her earrings were still spinning but they now seemed normal once again.

"Well come on, I'll show you your room," he said, walking to her and just past. A loud CRACK sounded the appearance of a rather tall and slim house elf. The creature looked as regal as one could and he bowed to his master.

"Would the master like drinks?" the House Elf croaked in an old and cracked voice.

"Nothing for me, but..." He looked to her though. "Anything for you?" he asked her. After that he sent the elf away. "That'll be all Alfred," he told the elf. Another loud CRACK and he was gone. "This way," Viktor said, regaining Desdemona's attention. After a walk down a rather long hall along the deck of one side, Viktor stopped in front of a door, oakwood stained a dark color. "After you," he said gently.

"Nothing for me." She said with a wave of her hand as if it was horrible to ask. So he didn't follow Granger's little group hmm.... Oh yes Desdemona knew all about Hermione Granger's little House Elf group. It's entertaining to see what Viktor would do in light of the past. Once they walked down the hall and stopped in front of the door she looked at him and waited. When he spoke she reached out and opened the door, though her long nails trailed soundlessly over the oak. She loved the feel of strong wood, and the smell. After all, at one time it was her only connection with something that might have been alive at one time. At least when she was in the dungeons that is. Taking a step inside, she began looking around.
